If we pull US troops out of Iraq, the war does not end there. Like
Vietnam, we simply lose that battle at the expense of thousands
(millions?) of lives.
Islamo-fascists have been at war with us for 40 years – but we weren’t
at war with them until 2001. In fact, they have really been at
war with US for 1400 years—if ‘us’ includes all who don’t kill
innocents in the name of Allah.
I'm afraid that leaves me with two disturbing conclusions about our US
Senate: 1) they don’t know who we’re at war with; or worse, 2) they
know it and are using the war as a political opportunity to grab power.
As much as I don’t like what Senate Dems are doing, I don’t want to see them weeping on Al Jazeera, begging for their lives.
